Associated Liner Agencies (Pvt) Ltd was established in Chittagong, then East Pakistan (now Bangladesh), as a shipping agent serving regional ports and providing maritime logistics services to local and global customers.
After the separation of East and West Pakistan, the company relocated its headquarters to Karachi, strengthening its presence in Pakistan’s main port and continuing ship agency and maritime logistics operations at Karachi Port.
With a vision to offer complete “one-stop-shop” solutions, the group launched Wiltrans Cargo Service, specializing in stevedoring and terminal operations at Karachi Port and Port Qasim.
Associated Liner Agencies (Pvt) Ltd entered a joint venture with Wilhelmsen ASA, establishing BayWil Shipping (Pvt) Ltd to serve customers across major regions of Pakistan.
The company expanded further by Logistics Expansion, providing local logistics, cross-border transportation, port handling equipment, and services extending to CIS countries.
Following global restructuring within the Wilhelmsen Group, the company was renamed Wilhelmsen Ships Service (Pvt) Ltd Pakistan.
As part of Wilhelmsen’s global restructuring, Associated Liner Agencies (Pvt) Ltd was exclusively appointed as agent for Wilhelmsen Port Services Asia – Norway, managing all business operations across Pakistani ports.
